Superior Silicone

For sealing, we rely on GE sanitary clear silicone, a neutral-cure formula that's ideal for bathroom environments as it resists yellowing over time—unlike acidic-cure alternatives that can discolor and degrade. This high-performance silicone requires 24 hours to fully cure, during which time the shower screen should not be touched or used to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity. When working on multiple bathrooms, such as in a home with two or more, I thoughtfully stagger the installations to minimize disruption, guaranteeing you always have access to at least one functional shower throughout the process.

Bardon Residence

This 6-year old bathroom had a framed shower screen which the seals were deteriorating and glass was full of soap scum.

We removed the old shower screen and installed a frameless shower screen with chrome hardware. The client wanted the glass to be easier to clean so we added Nano coating to glass inside and out.

This was a perfect installation in a different dog-leg style front only configuration.

Kangaroo Point Residence

This was an 8 year old apartment in Kangaroo Point which had an old and beat up semi-frameless shower screen. The client wanted a minimalist shower screen with no places where water can be trapped (frame).

This apartment had both shower screens done so I staggered them a couple days apart so they would have at least one functional shower screen throughout the process.

Coorparoo Residence

This house in Coorparoo was getting renovated to rent out whilst the owners go caravanning. The old shower screen was a frameless shower screen made from overseas standard sized panels. In this configuration you could picture how bad it was, 20mm gaps either side of the door and 100mm difference in height between 2 panels. The door was also scarily scraping across the tiles.

The client obviously needed a custom made shower screen to neaten the bathroom up.

Chrome Estelle hardware was used with a D-handle.

Newstead Residence

This apartment bathroom in Newstead had a renovation. It was a small bathroom only 1300mm wide and the door had to miss the toilet and also towel rail when opening. A custom made shower screen was needed and was done perfectly with near misses on both towel rail and toilet.
